Being a completely non-violent protester I've been caught up in 6 police kettles to date & I've talked with many of those I was kettled with. One main thing I heard was "If we're not being allowed to protest peacefully, what choices do we have left?!" I saw many extremely angry people in the 9.5 hour kettle I was trapped in... it was at that moment I KNEW the riots would happen (not that police getting clean away with killing & abusing so many people didn't have anything to do with it too)!!
